Kitchen Shelves
I love open shelves in a kitchen. They are great to show off good looking cookware and personalise your space.
This great kitchen is owned by Virginia Armstrong and was recently featured in Living etc magazine.
The green behind the shelves could be anything to add colour or texture to the blank canvas of the white kitchen units. It could be paint, wall paper, glass or wood.

National Pie Day
I can't believe I missed national pie day!
I have added National Pie Day to my calendar for next year and I have added this pie iron to my National Pie Day wish list. It fits in perfectly with my current obsession with cooking things on a real fire.Oh well, onto the next food related day...... December 8th is National Brownie Day!I definitely won't be missing that one.
